Somer 2000 Ltd install CCTV systems of all sizes and complexities, from fixed cameras to tracking motorised dome cameras as pictured below. Digital systems capable of storing a month or more of high quality video images without the need to replace tapes as with the conventional analogue systems. Video recorder based systems are of course still maintained. Somer 2000Ltd's CCTV range now includes camera systems that operate over TCP-IP network providing impressive flexibility.

Due to their success as a deterrent against shoplifting, the use of fixed domes in retail environments has expanded dramatically. As a result of their increasing popularity, they are now used in a broad spectrum of internal surveillance applications. From banks to night clubs, apartment lobbies to car park entrances, the use of fixed domes continues to spread into wider commercial and industrial sectors.

The tracking motorised dome cameras offer an impressive range of capability, and coverage potential. The Dennard Domes installed by Somer 2000Ltd provide very high quality images with impressive zoom capability. A single Dome unit can replace many fixed units, and when coupled with either our hard wired or software trigger points the cameras can be left to monitor wide areas with relentless accuracy! 

  

Digital Sprite 2 combines digital multiplexing, digital recording, multiple-user network viewing and dome control in a single, easy to use, cost-effective package.

Digital Sprite 2 provides true flexibility by functioning as either a standalone system, or the ideal platform for digital system integration. Built-in network video transmission, including bandwidth limitation offers matrix-style multiple user network viewing and control. Supplied free with Digital Sprite 2 the IR remote gives the operator front panel control of multiple racked units with no need for additional wires or cabling, and the new ergonomically designed keyboard can be used to control up to 16 units. A multi-directional joystick delivers swift, seamless control of our dome cameras.
