Test, inspection and maintenance offered by Somer 2000 Ltd spans all our offer services, with the appropriate NICEIC test certification provided for each section. Please refer to the relevant sub-page on our 'Contents Page' for maintenance of equipment and systems not listed below.

Somer 2000 Ltd offer a complete testing and inspection service from full fixed wire installation tests of complete electrical installations, to Portable Appliance Testing (PAT's). 

With the more recent requirement for the 'Part P' certification of all domestic electrical installation and modification Somer 2000Ltd can test and certify our work under the NICEIC Domestic Installers Scheme.

       Portable Appliance Testing

Competitive rates are offered for PAT testing on a per appliance basis or an hourly rate, to the customers requirements. Full test results are produced against every appliance for the customers health and safety records. 

       Fixed Wire Installation & Periodic test and inspections

Fixed wire installation test costs are offered on either a estimate basis or an hourly rate, once again to the customers requirements. Full NICEIC certification is of course offer on all tests completed.

        Emergency lighting maintenance

Emergency lighting systems of all sizes are tested and maintained, from single self contained light fittings to central battery installations. Each light is given an individual reference code, and test documentation is provided for every fitting, including a diary of tests and reports of defects found and repaired. These records are provided to the customers for filing in their premises, and offer the required tractability required of these systems.
